College Park is located just north of the District of Columbia and just south of Beltsville in Prince George's County, Maryland. College Park is home to one of the finest state colleges in the nation, the University of Maryland, College Park. The community is centered around the university. College Park's proximity to Route 1, Route 495, and Route 95 make it a home to many businesses. Unfortunately, these highways are often the sites of serious car and truck accidents as well.

College Park is not home to a state district or circuit court. The absence of a court has lead to a shortage of local College Park attorneys.
